Mashraba is a versatile and often overlooked dive site located at the southern end of Dahab Bay. It offers a rich variety of underwater landscapes, making it suitable for divers of all levels. The site features a gentle sandy slope leading to seagrass beds, coral pinnacles, and deeper swim-throughs.
One of the highlights is Roman's Rock, a prominent coral pinnacle teeming with marine life such as glassfish, lionfish, and anthias. Divers can also explore a swim-through at approximately 36 meters, accessible to those with deep diver certification. The area is known for sightings of seahorses, turtles, nudibranchs, and various reef fish.
Mashraba offers calm conditions year-round, making it ideal for training dives and underwater photography. The site's diverse topography includes seagrass beds, coral walls, and sandy slopes. Night dives are particularly rewarding, with opportunities to see cuttlefish, octopuses, and other nocturnal creatures.
