The Bells is one of Dahab's most dramatic and scenic dive sites, known for its narrow entry point and stunning wall dive that leads into the famous Blue Hole. It gets its name from the bell-like chime some divers hear when descending through the small vertical chimney at the start of the dive.
This dive begins with a vertical drop through a slot in the reef wall down to about 30 meters, opening onto a breathtaking wall covered in soft corals, fans, and sponges. The current gently carries you along the wall toward the exit into the Blue Hole saddle at around 7 meters - an unforgettable drift through color and light.
Perfect buoyancy control is essential due to the narrow entrance and sensitive reef walls. The site is exposed to wind and waves, so weather and entry conditions should be checked in advance. It's best suited for Advanced Open Water divers and above, with a guide recommended for first-timers.
The Bells is a must-dive for those seeking spectacular topography, marine biodiversity, and a seamless connection into the Blue Hole - all within a single dive.
