Ras Abu Galum

Location: Situated by Bedouin Village El Omeyid at the end of the track to Blue Hole.

Depth: 30 meters

Description: Enter from the beach close to the small Visitor Centre in the park, after skirting a cave that opens at 4 meters descend to 10 – 12 meters while passing by the spur defining the boundary of the coral reef and continue to your left. Continue eastwards, along the reef you will find some salad coral, and slightly deeper some massive pore corals before reaching some towers. From this point turn westwards to come back to the starting point, stay at a depth of 4 – 6 meters crossing a beautiful hard coral plateau.
